Holiday Concert: 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 25, in the rotunda of Flagler College’s Ponce de Leon Hall, 74 King St. The free performance will include a mix of holiday and vocal chamber music by The Flagler College Chamber Choir and The Flagler College Chorale. Holiday Soiree: 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, at the Harbor View Banquet Room, 252 Yacht Club Drive, St. Augustine. Feline Canopy of Care, Inc., is hosting its inaugural event, “For the Kitties,” to raise money for the cats and kittens in the organization who need medical care and forever homes. Enjoy appetizers from the KingFish Grill and an open bar from 6 to 8 p.m. Rob Ellis Peck, who has toured with Bo Diddley; Merle Haggard; Crosby, Stills and Nash; and others, will perform. Grief Support Group: 11 a.m. Saturdays, 721 A1A Beach Blvd. No. 5, St. Augustine. A free gathering place to share grief with others who have lost a loved one due to drug or alcohol addiction. Outdoor Lighting Contest: Through Dec. 10. The Pilot Club of St. Augustine is sponsoring a holiday outdoor lighting contest for Davis Shores and St. Augustine each, with $250 in prizes. Entries will be accepted through Dec. 10. Judging takes place Dec. 11 and 12, with an awards ceremony at 6 p.m. Dec. 14 at St. Augustine Beach City Hall. Entries are $20 each and must include category, name and address of entry, and phone number. Military Appreciation Month: The First Coast YMCA’s Operation Salute offers a month of free access during November. Current military families and veterans can explore member benefits like basketball courts, strength and cardio equipment, exercise classes and more at no charge. Veterans are also invited to bring in their photo. All members and visitors may contribute photos of family members or friends to honor during November which is designated Military Appreciation Month. Special membership rates are available for active, retired or honorably discharged military as well as Purple Heart and Gold Star families. The YMCA is located at 500 Pope Road on Anastasia Island. Music Hall of Fame Induction: 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1, in the Backyard at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre. The Friends of the St. Augustine Amphitheatre will host the second annual St. Augustine Music Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. Enjoy musical entertainment, arts and crafts, and food and beverages. Right Whale Talk: 10:30 a.m. to Noon Friday, Dec. 6, at the Southeast Branch of the St. John’s Public Library, 6670 U.S. Highway 1 S. Through photos and video, the Marineland Right Whale Project will present right whale facts, what to look for, and how citizens can assist in conserving this highly endangered whale. Christmas Tour of Homes: Noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8. The Garden Club of St. Augustine will host its 50th anniversary Christmas Tour of Homes. Guests will visit six homes, each one decorated by Garden Club members. Tickets are $30 and include Tea and Boutique at the River House. This is a walking tour. Bowties and Pearls Ball: 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, at the Ravine Gardens State Park, 1600 Twigg St., Palatka. The St. Johns-Putnam-Flagler County Chapter of the Charmettes will host its inaugural Bowties and Pearls Ball Evening of Elegance. Tickets are $50 per person and attire is formal.
